Research Cultures Database

The Skills Development Project is a White Rose University Consortium initiative, funded by the AHRC, to assist Arts and Humanities postgraduate researchers develop their academic language skills and their understanding of academic cultures outside of the UK.

These webpages host a database of resources about research cultures outside of the UK. It has been compiled by postgraduate researchers at the three White Rose Universities but is available to anyone seeking information and advice about engaging with academia in France, Spain, Italy, Germany, Japan, Hong Kong and China.

REMINDER: It is likely that the information held in the database will date as time passes, so anyone referencing the database is advised to double check information where this is critical to their research.
